Vacaville police on Friday arrested 10 men on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property and conspiracy, according to police.
Around 2:35 p.m. Friday, police responded to a report of a burglary at a Home Depot store at 501 Orange Drive.
Officers were notified that up to 10 subjects were loading electrical equipment into boxes and leaving the store with property, according to police.
Shortly thereafter, officers spotted a white Chevy Suburban leaving the store and followed the car onto eastbound Interstate Highway 80.
Earlier in the day, a Chevy and a Ford van were connected to three burglaries that had occurred at Home Depot stores in Fairfield, Napa and Vallejo, police said.
Officers stopped the Chevy and arrested two men after they were found in possession of nearly $10,000 worth of stolen property from Home Depot, according to police.
Officers also arrested eight additional subjects who were found in stores nearby Home Depot.
According to police, three vehicles were discovered to be associated with the suspects and electrical supplies valued at more than $25,000 were recovered and returned to Home Depot.
Police identified the suspects as Rigoberto Rodriguez, 25, of Massachusetts; Nelson Rodriguez, 23, of Bell; Erving Garcia-Varela, 19, of San Bernardino; Antoine Franklin, 31, of Van Nuys; John Johnson, 40, of Northhills; Jose Gomez, 21, of Los Angeles; Osman Rodriguez, 18, of Los Angeles; Charles Wood, 42, of Alhambra; Hector Rodriguez, 21, of Alhambra; and Norman Telleria, 37, of Alhambra.
All 10 suspects were booked into county jail on charges of burglary, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy.
The arrests followed a three-month large theft ring investigation by Home Depot corporate loss prevention officers.
According to police, the investigation revealed that the ring was targeting Home Depot stores throughout California and stealing electrical supplies and equipment valued at more than $100,000 and possibly with a total of more than $500,000.
The Police Department will assist Home Depot to coordinate additional charges and cases.
