Power was restored within three hours this morning to most of the 9,000 Pacific Gas and Electric Co. customers in El Sobrante and San Pablo affected by an early morning outage, a utility spokeswoman said.
PG&E spokeswoman Brandi Ehlers said the outage, which was reported at about 12:30 a.m., occurred when a car crashed into a power pole.
At about 3:35 a.m., about 1400 customers remained without power.
Ehlers said power would be completely restored by about 10 a.m.
