Two separate collisions have prompted the closure of all lanes on state Highway 29 in unincorporated Napa County this morning, a California Highway Patrol officer reported.
The accidents, one of which was a head-on collision involving a silver Honda sedan versus a silver sport utility vehicle, were reported at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday just north of Oak Knoll Avenue.
CHP Officer Robert Haven said at least one person is trapped inside one of the vehicles and a helicopter has been requested.
All southbound and northbound lanes are expected to reopen in about 20 minutes, Haven said.
