Firefighters are responding to a fire at a Victorian duplex in San Jose this afternoon, a fire captain said.
The two-alarm blaze was reported at about 11:50 a.m. in one unit of a duplex at 160 Fourth St., Capt. Chuck Rangel said.
He said the fire had been contained as of 12:50 p.m. but not yet controlled.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries in the fire, he said.
The fire appears to have started in the backyard area, Rangel said.
Three people live in each of the units. The occupants of the unit where the fire started were evacuated.
No other injuries have been reported.
