A Santa Clara County jury has reached a verdict in the trial of Gilroy resident Otto Emil Koloto who is accused of murdering 27-year-old Philip Lacy during a robbery in downtown Palo Alto two years ago.
Koloto, 23, is charged with murder for the death of Lacy, a South San Francisco resident, early the morning of July 13, 2008, near City Hall. He faces an enhancement for use of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
The verdict is expected to be read shortly in Santa Clara County Superior Court in San Jose.
