A man who died in a crash on W.R. Holman Highway in Monterey County on Friday has been identified by the Monterey County coroner’s office as 58-year-old Seaside resident Theodore Consoli.
Consoli was driving east on Holman Highway near Skyline Forest Drive, just outside of Monterey, when he was struck by another car going in the opposite direction.
He was taken to Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, where he succumbed to his injuries.
