Santa Clara County sheriff’s investigators released a sketch today of a man suspected of attempting to sexually assault a female jogger on a trail in San Jose over the weekend.
The attack was reported at about 7:45 a.m. Sunday in the area of Snell Road and Colleen Drive.
The victim was jogging when a man pushed her into an aqueduct and attempted to sexually assault her, according to the sheriff’s office. She fought him off, and he eventually fled the area.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes and was wearing a gray baggy hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes.
