A woman who was discovered in San Jose’s Guadalupe Creek on Saturday night has been identified by the Santa Clara County medical examiner’s office as Francis Vallejos.
Vallejos, 40, was found in the creek near Julian Street and state Highway 87 at about 6:10 p.m., Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no signs of foul play, Lopez said.
Police suspect Vallejos might have been a transient and are continuing to investigate her death.
