A 49-year-old woman died after being struck by two vehicles while riding her bicycle in Richmond Saturday evening, police said today.
Both drivers fled the scene of the crash, according to police.
Laura Casey was struck at about 6 p.m. by a white four-door sedan traveling south on Carlson Boulevard at Ohio Avenue, Lt. Manjit Sappal said. Witnesses said the driver paused momentarily before fleeing.
Casey was on the ground and calling for help when the second unidentified vehicle hit her and then fled.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, Lt. Sappal said.
Anyone with information about the incident is advised to call Richmond police.
