A Ben Lomond girl who went missing last week is still outstanding, but her disappearance does not appear suspicious, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office.
The family of Sierra Rose Mercer, 15, said they last saw her at home on May 27. When they didn’t hear from her, they reported her missing on Saturday, the sheriff’s office said.
Although Mercer’s whereabouts has not been determined, she has been in contact with some of her friends, the sheriff’s office said.
Mercer is 5 feet 3 inches tall and has reddish-brown hair below her shoulders and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with red lettering, blue jeans, black tennis shoes and a dark blue backpack.
Anyone with information about Mercer’s whereabouts is asked to call sheriff’s dispatch at (831) 471-1121.
