A shooting in Oakland early this morning left a man in critical condition, police said.
A man was sitting in the driver’s seat of a car parked in the driveway of a home in the 3100 block of High Street when he was hit by gunfire at about 1:30 a.m., police Officer J. Moore said.
Moore said that after he was shot, the victim drove the car into the house. No one inside was injured.
The victim was transported to a hospital.
The shooter remains at large.
