Police are investigating a drive-by shooting in Salinas on Thursday night.
The shooting occurred around 7 p.m. on Castro Street, according to police.
Police said the victim, a 20-year-old man, was walking on Castro Street near Main Street when a gray car drove by and someone shot at him.
A bullet struck the victim’s foot and he was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.
