A Tracy man accused of molesting an underage girl and her friend in Morgan Hill 10 years ago is facing child molestation charges, police officials said today.

The arrest came after months of investigation into allegations by a 16-year-old girl in April that Robillos sexually assaulted her when she was about 6 or 7 years old, between 2000 and 2002, police said.

The girl told police Robillos was a family friend who lived with her family in Morgan Hill at that time. Detectives found that he had also allegedly sexually assaulted a friend and neighbor of the victim’s who was about 9 years old at that time, police said.

Officers booked Robillos into Santa Clara County jail for lewd acts on a child under 14 years old.

The Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office has filed four counts of lewd acts with a child under 14 against Robillos, according to district attorney’s spokesman Nick Muyo.

He will plead to the charges on Oct. 12.
