Walnut Creek police are searching for a man who robbed a Washington Mutual bank in the city today.
The robbery was reported at around noon in the 2200 Oak Grove Road.
The suspect allegedly showed the teller a note notifying her about the robbery and then fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.
Officers were not able to locate the suspect after an immediate search of the area.
The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic man in his early 20s, standing at approximately 5 feet and 5 inches tall, with a thin build and a tattoo of angel wings across the back of his neck. He has short dark hair and brown eyes with a dark mustache and goatee.
