Pacific Grove police are investigating a body found Wednesday morning in the water off Ocean View Boulevard.
The Monterey County coroner’s office has identified the body as Pacific Grove resident Eileen Mary Knox, 48.
Knox was found around 7 a.m. in the water off Ocean View Boulevard at 5th Street.
Police and the coroner’s office are investigating the circumstances of Knox’s death, but are not yet suspecting foul play.
An autopsy was conducted Wednesday afternoon.
