Police are seeking the public’s help in finding an 83-year-old San Jose woman who has been missing for a week and is considered at-risk.

A neighbor called police Tuesday afternoon to report that Ann Marie Vlahovich and her husband hadn’t been seen since Jan. 27.

Officers went to the couple’s home in the 800 block of Kingfisher Drive and found Vlahovich’s husband in need of medical attention. He was taken to a hospital for treatment, police said.

His wife, however, could not be located. She is described as white with brown hair and green eyes. She is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 90 pounds.

Her vehicle has gone missing as well. It is a white 2001 four-door Cadillac STS, with license plate No. 4SYC855.

Vlahovich has no known medical conditions but must wear corrective lenses, police said.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Vlahovich or her car is urged to call the missing persons unit at (408) 277-4786 during business hours and 911 or (408) 277-8900 after hours. Those who wish to remain anonymous can call Crime Stoppers at (408) 947-STOP (7867).
