Firefighters are responding to a vegetation fire that has burned about two acres in San Jose this afternoon, a fire captain said.
The fire was reported at about 4:20 p.m. at 900 Lonus St., according to Capt. Chuck Rangel. It was contained at 5 p.m. but has not been controlled.
The blaze initially threatened a Safe Place Storage facility, Rangel said.
