Police investigate stabbing of 17-year-old boy at elementary school

Morgan Hill police are investigating the stabbing of a 17-year-old boy on the Paradise Valley Elementary School campus early Wednesday morning.

Police believe the boy was stabbed around 1:10 a.m. near the school playground during a fight with another male.

Officers found the boy afterward in a room at the Ramada Inn on Condit Road.

He was taken to Saint Louise Regional Hospital in Gilroy with a cut to his arm that was not life-threatening.

The stabber fled before officers arrived, police said.
