Wells Fargo bank is providing a $100,000 grant to restore 10 low-income homes in a neighborhood in the Mayfair area that was hit hard by foreclosures.
The Housing Trust of Santa Clara County will announce details about the grant at a 10 a.m. news conference Saturday at 217 South Sunset Ave.
Speakers at the event will include Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors President Dave Cortese, San Jose Councilman Xavier Campos and representatives from Wells Fargo and the Housing Trust.
Saturday also marks the beginning of Affordable Housing Week, which runs through May 7.
