Salinas police are searching for a male suspect wearing a black hoodie who allegedly fired a number of shots at a residence in the city Saturday morning.
The shooting happened shortly before 10 a.m. at 1400 Tecopa Way, according to police.
Police said residents, including children, were inside the home but were not struck by gunfire.
