Santa Clara police are asking the public to help identify suspects in connection with the assault of a Denny’s manager and waitress nearly two weeks ago.
Officers responded around 3:35 a.m. on Aug. 13 to a report of intoxicated customers causing a disturbance inside a Denny’s restaurant at 3715 El Camino Real.
Police said when a waitress asked the group to quiet down one man became enraged and threw silverware at her, cutting her face. He then left the restaurant, but returned and violently forced his way back inside and punched the restaurant manager in the mouth, according to police.
He also punched the waitress in the face and knocked her unconscious. She was taken to a hospital with a broken nose and concussion, police said.
The man and two associates fled north on Halford Avenue in a black Cadillac Escalade.

Witnesses described the suspect as a Caucasian or Hispanic man around 30 years old, 6 feet tall and 220 pounds.
One of the two people he was with was described as a Hispanic woman in her mid to late 20s, with straight brown, highlighted hair. The third person with them was described as a black man in his early 30s with a cornrow hairstyle.
