Gilroy police are trying to identify a man who robbed a convenience store clerk at gunpoint on Friday night.
The robbery occurred around 10:45 p.m. at the Quick-N-Easy Market at 8429 Murray Ave.
A man walked into the store, brandished a rifle and demanded money from the clerk, police said. The clerk handed the man an undisclosed amount of cash and he took off with the money.
The clerk was not harmed in the robbery.
The suspect was described as a white or Hispanic man between 25 and 30 years old, standing from 5 feet 6 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall. He was wearing a black-and-white jacket.
