Police have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of shooting another man in San Jose on Wednesday night.
Investigators believe that at about 5:45 p.m., the suspect, Kenneth Le, approached the victim, a 28-year-old man, in the 1000 block of Drexel Way and shot him several times, then fled in a white truck, police Sgt. Jason Dwyer said.
The victim was taken to Regional Medical Center of San Jose with injuries that were not life-threatening, Dwyer said.
Officers later located Le in the truck and took him into custody. He was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on an attempted murder charge.
Le and the victim are both San Jose residents.
