Power has been restored to about 1,100 south San Jose residents this morning, a PG&E spokeswoman said.
The power outage started at 4:26 a.m. and power was restored around 7 a.m., utility spokeswoman Monica Tell said.
The area affected was bordered by Branham Lane and Monterey, Umbarger and Senter roads.
The cause of the outage remains under investigation, Tell said.
