A San Jose Thai restaurant where a two-alarm blaze broke out this morning will be closed for the rest of the day, a fire spokeswoman said.
Firefighters responded at about 8:10 a.m. to a kitchen fire at Tee Nee Thai Cuisine, located at 1423 The Alameda, according to San Jose fire Capt. Mary Gutierrez.
The fire was controlled at 8:54 a.m.
Two people, including a child, were inside at the time of the fire, but they were not injured, Gutierrez said.
The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
