The Santa Teresa Bottle Shop may not be the most romantic place in San Jose, but that’s where one man got lucky this Valentine’s Day.
The shop is where a man identified by lottery officials as Alfred N. purchased a winning $1 million California Lottery ticket.
Alfred said he would use the money to buy himself some toys and put away the rest for his daughter’s future and in a retirement fund.
The Santa Teresa Bottle Shop, which is located at 7068 Santa Teresa Blvd., will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the top prize-winning ticket.
