A 32-year-old San Jose man was arrested this week on suspicion of burglarizing a Los Altos home where he worked as a house cleaner.
Detectives arrested Jonathan Norberto Perez on Wednesday in connection with a burglary at a residence in the 500 block of Arboleda Drive, police said.
Police said that last Sunday, Perez stole an undisclosed amount of cash and jewelry from the home.
He is being held on $50,000 bail at the Santa Clara County Jail on charges of burglary and driving with a suspended driver license.
In addition to the Los Altos home, Perez has also worked as a house cleaner in Saratoga, San Jose, Sunnyvale, and Santa Cruz, according to police. Detectives are working with neighboring agencies to determine if there are any other victims.
Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police Detective Mark Thomsen at (650) 947-2820.
