San Jose police are investigating a crash that killed a 42-year-old woman in the city this afternoon, according to the Police Department.
The crash was reported at about 1:30 p.m. in the area of Minnesota and Bird avenues, police Sgt. Ronnie Lopez said.
The woman was riding her motorcycle on Bird Avenue when she rear-ended a pickup truck, Lopez said.
She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead, Lopez said.
