The Santa Clara County Sheriff’s Office today is investigating the suspicious death of a man found buried underneath boulders Monday in an unincorporated part of the county within San Jose.
Authorities were notified by an anonymous caller at about 4 p.m. of a body buried in a rock quarry in the area of Hillsdale and Hillcap avenues.
Sgt. Don Morrissey said officers uncovered the body of a man in his 30s by removing a pile of big rocks. An investigation is underway to determine the man’s identity and the cause of his death.
