A local college student can add millionaire to her resume after hitting the $35 million jackpot over the weekend, lottery officials announced Wednesday.
Christianaimee Reyes, who said she plays the lottery every once in awhile, discovered she had won while watching the news on Monday. One of the tickets her parents had bought her on a routine outing to a local store on Saturday night was announced as the winning ticket.
Reyes said she plans to “live a very happy life and help my family to live a very happy life as well!”
The SuperLOTTO Plus ticket was purchased at Lion Food Center at 39055 Cedar Blvd., Newark.
