Madeleine Albright to speak at child abuse prevention benefit

Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright will speak on April 17 at a luncheon in San Francisco to raise awareness for child abuse and child neglect prevention.

The annual “For the Love of a Child” benefit luncheon will be hosted by the San Francisco Child Abuse Prevention Center in honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Cheryl Jennings, anchor at ABC 7, will serve as master of ceremonies.

The event is scheduled to take place at noon at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, located at 600 Stockton St.
