More than 150 colorful new and classic cars and trucks from around the world will be exhibited at the fourth annual Saratoga Classic Car Show in downtown Saratoga on July 21.
Organized by the Saratoga Chamber of Commerce in partnership with the Cool Car Club of Saratoga and Los Gatos, the purpose of the event is to boost business for Saratoga merchants and to provide a fun event for car enthusiasts. It will take place from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Exotic and classic cars aside, this year’s event will also feature flags, vendors, live radio broadcasts, live music and beer and wine tasting. Attendees can purchase tickets for wine tasting at the Chamber of Commerce and outside Cinnabar for $25. Various restaurants will sell beer and wine and an assortment of food, and local artisans will be selling their gourmet food products.
The event is open to the public, and admission is free. Organizers are anticipating anywhere from 4,000 to 5,000 attendees.
A day prior to the event, the Chamber will offer additional activities, such as a car cruise, visits to three local wineries and lunch on the morning of July 20. Tickets are $75 per person. A VIP reception with wine, food, music and a silent auction to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will take place in the evening from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Village Square.
A VIP gold package, including overnight accommodations at the Inn at Saratoga for two in addition to all activities on July 20 and 21, including VIP parking and lunch, is $650.
The Chamber is giving away two tickets to the VIP reception on Saturday night. To enter to win, stop by the Chamber office, fill out an entry form and drop it in the box in front of the office. Entries will be accepted until 5 p.m. on July 17. The winner will be announced in the Chamber’s e-blast on July 18.
