Both westbound lanes of state Highway 37 in Vallejo have been shut down this morning following a collision between two trucks that resulted in the injury of one of the drivers, a California Highway Patrol officer said.
CHP Officer Kevin Kroncke said the accident involved two big-rigs and was reported at about 7:50 a.m. at the Mare Island Bridge.
The injured driver was transported to a hospital with major injuries, Kroncke said.
Grain spilled onto the highway from one of the trucks, he said.
