Oakland police today released the identity of an 18-year-old Pinole man who was fatally shot Thursday.
Officers responded to a shooting at about 4:15 p.m. in the 800 block of 45th Street, where they found two men suffering from at least one gunshot wound each, police said.
Both men were transported to a hospital. Nguyen Ngo was pronounced dead upon arrival. The second man is considered to be in stable condition.
Police are investigating the motive behind the killing.
