San Francisco police this morning arrested a man suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol in a stolen vehicle, a police sergeant said.
Officers noticed a stolen silver Toyota 4-Runner weaving across lanes on Stockton and Post streets at about midnight.
According to police Sgt. Rachel Ezirim, police pursued the driver of the Toyota onto the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge, where the Toyota collided with another vehicle.
Both drivers suffered non-life threatening injuries in the crash, Ezirim said.
The California Highway Patrol, which assisted in the incident, said traffic was briefly backed up on the bridge.
