A man’s body was found in the Fremont hills this morning, according to the Fremont Police Department.
Someone spotted the body in the Niles Canyon region and reported it at about 11 a.m., Sgt. Chris Mazzone said.
It was not immediately clear how the man died.
Fremont police initially responded to the report, but the case is being taken over by the East Bay Regional Parks Police Department, Mazzone said.
