Danville man arrested for strong-arm robbery

Walnut Creek police arrested a 19-year-old Danville man Saturday evening for allegedly robbing another man.

The victim was walking on California Boulevard near Ygnacio Valley Road around 6:30 p.m. when he was approached by Carlos Revuelta, according to police.

Revuelta threatened the victim with physical harm and forced him to hand over his possessions, police said.

Revuelta fled the scene on foot but was located hiding in bushes by an officer making an area check blocks from the scene.

Police arrested Revuelta for strong-arm robbery and booked him into the Martinez Detention Facility after witnesses and the victim positively identified him as the suspect.
