Former New York governor Elliot Spitzer is in Santa Clara today for a national policy conference.
The “Economic Worlds Colliding” conference, hosted by the Silicon Valley chapter of Financial Executives International, will feature a series of panels on topics including the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, energy policy, cyber security, stock price volatility, and the economic outlook for the upcoming year.
Spitzer is participating in a 7 p.m. dinner and panel session on the Dodd-Frank Act, along with former Sen. Christopher Dodd, D-Conn., and former Rep. Tom Campbell, R-Calif.
The attendance fee for members of Financial Executives International is $40; for non-members who qualify as senior financial executives of Silicon Valley companies, the fee is $150.
The conference is taking place at the Hyatt Regency at 5101 Great America Parkway.
