A multi-car crash blocked lanes on Highway 4 near the Cummings Skyway exit in Martinez early Saturday morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred around 8 a.m. in an area with heavy fog and involved at least 10 cars, including a white Hyundai Sonata, a Honda Civic and a Ford F-150.
Some of the occupants sustained minor injuries, the CHP said.
The crash resulted in the closure of two left lanes on eastbound Highway 4 that were reopened at about 9:30 a.m.
