A pedestrian who died in a hit-and-run crash in San Francisco on Friday night has been identified as city resident Gerardo Yambao, according to the San Francisco medical examiner’s office.
Yambao, 56, was struck by a hit-and-run driver at Lake Merced and Brotherhood Way around 7:40 p.m.
Authorities are searching for a white sport utility vehicle in connection with the crash, police said.
