Point Reyes National Seashore is now offering shuttle bus service in time for the arrival of the elephant seals and gray whales, a park superintendent said.

“It’s an exciting time to visit the park with elephant seals returning to the Point Reyes Headlands and gray whales migrating between Alaska and Mexico,” Superintendent Don Neubacher said.

The service will run only on weekends and holidays through mid-April. During bus operation, Sir Francis Drake Highway will be closed at South Beach from 9 a.m. to about 5:15 p.m.
