San Jose police are looking for the driver of a pickup truck who fled after the truck overturned on its side and spilled bags of marijuana on the street early Wednesday.
Police said the incident occurred at about 12:50 a.m. at the intersection of Blossom Hill Road and Playa Del Rey.
It was not immediately apparent whether the truck, a white 1992 Toyota pickup, crashed into another car. When officers arrived they found the truck on its side with some bags filled with marijuana scattered about, police Officer Jose Garcia said.
He said before officers responded, there were reports of people picking up the bags from the streets.
Police took the remaining bags and a loaded handgun they found inside the vehicle, Garcia said.
The driver of the truck is at-large and has not yet been identified, he said.
