Since California voters will decide in November if recreational marijuana use should be legalized, the Santa Clara County district attorney’s office is sponsoring a symposium to discuss the issue. The event’s purpose is to acquaint voters with the myths, facts and possible community impacts of legalization.
The symposium is at the Santa Clara Convention Center on Sept. 8 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. It continues Sept. 9 from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Lunch is included in the cost, which is $65 with early registration. The price is $100 after Aug. 19.
