Eastbound traffic west of Treasure Island on the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge remained backed up around 5:45 p.m. today, following a multi-vehicle collision that prompted a temporary closure of three lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at about 3:40 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the bridge, according to CHP Officer Aaron Quistad.
Four to five cars were involved in the collision. It is unknown how many people were affected in the crash and only minor injuries were reported, according to Quistad.
All lanes of the highway reopened around 5:25 p.m.
