Collaborative against human trafficking to launch awareness campaign

By Khalida Sarwari

The San Francisco Collaborative Against Human Trafficking will kick off an awareness campaign in January to highlight the criminal industry’s presence in the Bay Area.

The initiative addresses human trafficking in the Bay Area, with a mission to prevent the crime, prosecute traffickers, and protect survivors of human trafficking by building a coalition of anti-trafficking advocates and experts in San Francisco.

The collaborative will launch the month-long campaign at a news conference at City Hall on Jan. 11.

Activities throughout the month include a panel discussion, benefit dinner, signature collecting initiative and award ceremony.
