Police have arrested a 30-year-old man suspected of exposing himself and masturbating inside his car while watching a woman at a Palo Alto bus stop, police said.
The arrest followed an investigation that involved police surveillance after a woman reported that for the past two weeks a man in a red 1988 Nissan Pathfinder sport utility vehicle would watch her and moan loudly while she waited for the bus, according to police.
An undercover officer arrested Jose Hernandez, of Redwood City, on Tuesday morning at a bus stop at the corner of El Camino Real and Matadero Avenue.
Hernandez was booked into Santa Clara County jail on charges of indecent exposure and driving without a license.
