A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol Thursday after he crashed his car into a light pole on the south curb area of Orange Drive near Gilley Way in Vacaville, police said.
Kristopher Mclain lost control of his Buick and crashed into a light pole on the south curb area shortly before 5 p.m., according to police.
The pole impacted Mclain’s car one-to-two feet behind the driver’s door, causing the car to spin counter-clockwise and rest in a nearby field, according to police.
Mclain was transported to VacaValley Hospital following the crash where he was treated for a head laceration injury.
