An autopsy is scheduled today for a 41-year-old Monterey woman whose body was discovered Thursday morning in Los Padres National Forest, according to the Monterey County coroner’s office.
Tawni Neikirk’s body was found at about 10:50 a.m. Thursday near the Monterey Institute for Research in Astronomy.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine Neikirk’s cause of death.
