Armed men rob Carl’s Jr. restaurant

Two men robbed a Carl’s Jr. restaurant in Watsonville at gunpoint on Monday night, police said.

The robbery occurred at about 8:50 p.m. at the Carl’s Jr. at 1901 Freedom Blvd. The men entered the business, pulled out handguns and demanded money from the manager, police said.

The manager complied and the suspects left the business with cash.

One suspect was described as a man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 190 pounds. The second suspect was described as in his mid-20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall and 170 pounds.
