Former Oakland Athletics player and baseball legend Reggie Jackson will make an appearance in Carmel tonight to discuss his new book.
Jackson, 63, will appear to discuss “Sixty Feet, Six Inches,” as part of the Carmel Library Foundation’s annual art and literary series.
Jackson, who helped the Oakland A’s win three consecutive World Series titles in the early 1970s, will also talk about his baseball career.
The event will be held at 7 p.m. in Carpenter Hall at the Sunset Center, which is located at San Carlos Street and 9th Avenue.
Seating for the event is limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Proceeds will benefit Harrison Memorial Library.
